MGS4 opinions wanted

Do you guys think MGS4 is going to kill the market? I don't mean that literally but it's a highly anticipated game and Hideo Kojima never fails to deliver (except with game release delays!). I don't think many games are going to come close to it in its genre after except for maybe FFX Versus or Ninja Gaiden II.

I look forward to playing it. The Metal Gear series has always delivered on long and involved playing experiences. It's the type of game that I expect to take a long time to finish, and that's part of what appeals to me.

I liken it to reading a good long book. I do that rarely, so I look forward to long games.

I won't be playing MGS4 only because I don't own a PS3. However, if I did own one I would play it for sure. I liked the older MGS games, I thought they were always fun, or maybe it was because for some reason I really liked to hide under that box, lol.

My cousin has a PS3, so if he gets it I'll most likely go over to his house to play it. I watched the video on it that someone here posted and it looked amazing. I was a little confused in the beginning though, because he was dressed up in the assassin creed outfit.

Now that I think about it I have 4 MGS action figures in my room not even out of the box yet. Solid Snake, Revolver Ocoleot?, some like clear ninja, and some dude with stitches all over his face, mantis something or other.

The Snake one comes with about a billion different weapons, a gas mask, and night vision or something, it's pretty intense. I get intimidated just looking inside. The Ocelot one is kinda boring. What the hell is that bed thing or w/e that comes with him?

I still have my Vulcan Raven figure in its original packaging... I swear that figure weighs almost three pounds...

The Grey Fox figure that I also own is currently being displayed on the shelves that I have here in my office... he was one of my favorite characters from MGS1.
