Redesigned PSN

Like it? It will be up in 2 weeks, but unfortunately there will be no new content from now to then, just because of the work being put into changing the design. We don't get much anyways, so it doesn't matter. Also, it is apparently XMB based, instead of the previous store design which is browser based. That means a lot faster loading times.

It's not great, but it'll do. I think they need to change the color or give us an option to change it.

I can't wait to use this redesigned store, it's much better than the current one.

The colour is fine and probably wont get changed since the current store is mostly blue. I can't see the point in having PSP game on there since you can't download PSP game to a PS3. They should have also left out the "Family Games" category and put a "Wallpapers/Themes" one in there instead. I suspect they will be under the other media one.

The "We Reccomend" bit is stupid also. If anything it should be "Top Downloads".

The faster we get this, the better.

Why was this so hidden? I didn't even think the psn need to be changed. Of all the forums and web sites I'm on I didn't hear any thing about this nor did I hear people complain about the other one. I mean I like it but I never heard any one complain about the psn besides slow downloads.

BoyEngland, I don't know about downloading full psp games to the ps3, but I just downloaded two psp demos to the ps3 the other day. Then I copied them to my son's psp for him to play. That is the only time that I tried to use the playstation store for the psp but it worked fine.

Maybe it differs in regions because I can't even download PSP demos to my PS3. I have activated my PSP and stuff like that also.

I also struggled to transfer PSP demos to from my PC to the PSP because I wasn't aware there was a special tool you needed to download first.

The web browser (PC) version of the store is a lot better since it houses all PS Store content, they should let us access it on the PS3.

Even hotter than the new PSN layout would have to be the (high def) MGS4 wallpaper that I downloaded the other day, along with the God of War theme that I downloaded shortly after that!

Well, at least it looks like it'll be easier to read things in there... that's a bonus, if you ask me.

ANY change at all would be welcome in my opinion. the current psn store is horrendous and i dare say an outright affrontery on the eyes and senses of any poor fool unsuspecting enough to actually venture into that particular ring of hell.

redneck translation= i aint too keen on this here current store we got. no sir, i aint too keen on it one bit.
