I remember a while ago, about December or so a lot of talk about a white ps3 that would be sold for 299$. Does any one know anything about what happened to that? I thought they said later in the month it would be out. I searched the web and all I found was get a free white ps3........
Been release in Japan already, now they got a Silver model. The white model ran through the FFC in the US but no date has been given yet I don't believe.
I believe KungPao stated that his friend's mom works for Sony, and they planned a price cut in November(ish). So I'd guess the white one might come out then.

My brother's friend's sister works for Microsoft and she said that they will drop prices of the premium to $75.
