Some new screenshots arose the other day about a new tech demo made by Plastic...but now there is some uncertainty if this is actually a mere tech demo, or a game. Either way, Sony had apparently made a deal with Plastic, that this demo will be only available on the PSN, for everyone to mess around with it and to see the shear beauty of it.
Sorry Crysis, but it seems like you have just been dethroned.
Also, to note, this is running fully off of the PS3 hardware. We won't see games like this probably for quite some time, but the PS3 is fully capable of running this. Since the Cell is really good at fast calculations, I am assuming that was mainly use to actually render this in real-time, as opposed to the graphics card doing all the work.
There is a video floating around the internet of this whole demo, but it is being taken down extremely quickly wherever it goes, so it is hard to catch it. Once I get a concrete link to a video, I will let you guys know.
