The SIXAXIS is used when you're attacked by Crawlers, Menials, and it is used to shake off tags, fire, and ion blast when you're playing online. My friend's little brother discovered it. He was playing online, and got tagged and freaked out and threw the controller in the air and it shook the tag off.

It's used to a decent effect in Folklore, but that's really the only time I've ever seen it used even halfway well, and as an actual gameplay feature rather than a tacked on bit of crap like guiding cannonballs in Heavenly Sword or parachuting into a level on Ratchet & Clank (funny, he never needed that in the other games!). For the most part it's just irritating, and is only being used just because it's there rather than to add something special to the game. If devs can't find a decent use for Sixaxis, I'd rather just not use it at all than use it for some worthless little minigame.
So, Folklore uses it reasonably well, everything else doesn't.

Lair used it. A lot. Which is one of the main reasons that game sucked so much.
But yeah, i've also heard flOw makes good use of it, along with a few others. Mostly PSN games though, the rest of the games don't really go beyond the gimmick stage of shaking things off or meleeing. Anyone remember COD 3's sad attempt at motion controls? Ugghh....

I'm hoping MGS4 will make nice use of it. But it will probably be little things like everyone else.

It doesn't seem like the sixaxis has been used to its full potential yet. I don't really want it to be the key feature of a game though. For example, it is very difficult to play motorstorm with the motion control on.
However, I did think that the small things you could do with the sixaxis in uncharted were okay. You had to balance on a few things. You could change the trajectory of your grenades by moving your controller up or down. You could shake the guys off you when they attacked. I think those were all small features that played into the game without taking away from it.
Another game that I know uses it is toy home from the playstation store. I downloaded the demo for my two boys and they enjoy driving the cars using the motion sensor.
