Problems with PS3
Nothing technical, but for some reason my sixaxis decides when it wants to work. Sometimes it will turn on wirelessly, sometimes I have to plug it up via usb and turn it on.

Also, bluetooth headset isn't too hot either. I have a motorola h350 and it rarely connects, rarely. Maybe for a game or two, but never for more than an hour.

I hope I can get past these, as I love this system!

Some bluetooth headsets do not work properly with the PS3, but that is pretty rare. Did it work fine before?

Also, a lot of the problems with controllers can be fixed by pushing the reset button on the back. If neither problems go away, may be something wrong with the bluetooth in the PS3 itself.

Rarely worked with ps3, but works fine with phone or computer via bluetooth adapter. I'm going to try another headset and if not then I'm calling gamestop and getting a new one.

But it is know that NOT EVERY bluetooth headset works properly on the PS3. If he resets his controller, and it works properly, than it is the headset's fault.

That is true but when I read his first post I took it as his controller keeps connecting then losing connection witch sounds like a system fault.

Your particular headset is notorious for not working on PS3 correctly. It just happens to be one of the most popular headsets too.
The controller thing I have no idea about though.

EDIT: I almost forgot to mention this. If you have a USB headset use that, just works better if you dont mind the cord.

The only time I ever have controller connection issues is when the battery is almost dead.

I'm not saying this is definitely your problem but watch out for that.

PS: On a side note the Six-Axis has great battery life, I think I have charged each of my controllers maybe 6 times since getting the console in August.

For some reason, if I pause a game I can't turn off the system via the button power button. I don't usually do that but noticed it tonight. I have to plug it in via usb then turn it on like that, then take usb cord out and press a button.

Weird.
