when is bad company coming out?

Kelly I totally agree with you. That's why I was looking for a company where I could rent the games that I wanted. I was gonna go with GF but their reputation is so bad. My cousin waited for 2 weeks to get AC and is been on the waiting list for COD4. I decided to try Gamexpress at least they offer new releases guaranteed

Great I already placed the order for burnout paradise.....is it better than need for speed most wanted? Hey dude do you play COD4?

This is what I used to do. Instead of buying the game at the day they come out. I would wait for about 2 weeks to play it. But hey, I can't wait for too long. And Blockbuster never have the games there. Also, too expesive it was better off buying them.

I have never rented a game since I first got my PS2. I have nothing against doing so, it's just I have never really been let down by a game I have bought (R:FOM is a different story) so I usually trust my choice of games and just outright buy them.

I was thinking about getting a membership for the local Blockbuster tonight but I have no money so I wouldn't be able to buy a game even if I really liked it.

I think I might start renting games once I get some cash, Blockbuster is a 5 minute walk from my college so I can pick up a new rent during my dinner hour. LoveFilm (English NetFlix) is a good place to rent games online but I would rather pick the game off a shelf although I do like the list you can make just in case you forget what you want.

My first rents when I get the cash will be R6V2 (not convinced it's worth a buy), MX vs ATV Untamed and Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway.

OceX- Gamexpress? I have never heard of it... is the site good?

I dont have too many problems with Gamefly, only once they sent me my 6th one on my list when all the other ones availablity were good. So that kinda pissed me off.
but the local stores charge me about 8 dollars per game for 5 days. and i never get them back so by the time i pay the late fees i might as well have bought a game lol

If I were going to rent I would do it at Blockbuster...no more late fees...but I hate renting! It's a vicious circle....

+1 FTW!

My sentiments, exactly... which is odd, because I don't agree with England on much of anything that he posts.

Me too. It's rare that I pick up a game I really don't like (bloody Two Worlds...). The main reason for me renting now is that I'm just too poor to play all the games I'd like to!

A year ago i would have said rent rent rent. Now it all comes down to the multiplayer. If you have an XBL account and want to play online a lot it may be worth the cash to buy the game. Even so renting is a good idea before you buy any game, even if just to test the multiplayer.
As for the rental sites and online rental and so on I can not really comment other than to say this. Family Video (my rental store of choice) is excellent because it is a few blocks away and cheap. The problem is that the selection of games is far lower than the online places. Not such a big deal for 360, PS3, or Wii games, since they are still relatively new systems. For PS2, for example, though I have not been able to rent several games from the place, most notable being Magna Carta (PS2).

Guess What??? I did register with Gamexpress I will try them and see if it is worth it.....I register on Monday and they sent me an e-mail telling me that they have sent me Burnout Paradise on the following day. Well, I register for the free trial period if I do no like than I can cancel....I hope to like their services....

I hate...hate....Blockbuster they NEVER have the games available. Once, I rented a game there and the game was broken they told me I broke the game. Unbeliavable......Neither for movies I rent at Blockbuster they charge about $6.00 for new releases and still you can only keep for a few days. Movies now I rent from DVDXpress machines inside the supermarket they only charge $1.49 per movie including new releases.....I am wondering...maybe dvdxpress and gamexpress are the same company???maybe who knows...

I usualy rent a game first to make sure I like it, or in a few cases to save myself $50 when I can be completely done with it durring the rental period. With $60 per game prices I just can't afford end up with ones that end up stinking. Is a bit more to rent it first, but still. Some games I will just buy though if I'm really sure I'm going to like it.
