I doubt they will do that since most of the older games are already getting sequels so development for those will have stopped, but the best chance of knowing is finding the longer video of the hall of fame system and have a look at the trophies to see if there are any older games in there.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 has a neat little feature where in the menu, you press triangle, and it opens up your friend list. You can send messages, check invites, and see your friends list. This is all I really wanted. It's kinda slow, but it's really convenient.

What's the latest update on the addition of the in-game Cross Media Bar? Has anyone heard anything new on it, as far as a date or how it will function?

3-4 months after the public beta of Home is my guess.

I think Home is their top priority, since, ya know, it's their XBL-killer. So I expect we'll see that first. It'll take them months to work all of the bugs and performance issues out of Home once the beta is live, and then we'll see the in-game XMB.

So PS's XBL killer will be out in the coming months? Christ, Live has been out for a long time already, even then their going to have to fix the bugs after it comes out. Sony are really messing their fanbase around.

No I'm not being a fanboy, that's just how I see it. I know Microsoft is just, if not worse, as bad.

I guess we just have to be patient and hope for the best. I really hope it's worth the wait though.

Sometimes I think Sony is bringing Home out just to make us forget about the in-game XMB.

It's hardly like the XMB would take much effort to get done. They surely have enough feedback to know what people want in the in-game XMB, it can't take more than a few months to get one done can it?

They say the in-game XMB will come this year. But I expect to see a "PS3 anniversary release" of it. "A gift to our users for making the PS3 a success" kinda deal. (Meaning we will see it September - November)
