The game was not ported well from the 360 to the PS3 apparently, so there are some frame-rate problems. When I first got the game I kept having problems with being booted out of a game or having extreme lag (even though my connection was fine). Now I have a smooth connection and rarely see lag. I guess the only thing you can do is wait. For what I don't really know, maybe the problem will fix itself over time.
