Microsoft will be offering up a free Arcade download as a "We're sorry we effed up your holiday gaming" apology for the outtage many of us XBL users experienced over the holidays.
Apparently there was a massive influx of noobs, which strained their servers, and killed our good times.

I knew before Christmas even got here that all the people getting all new consoles and COD4 was going to efff things up on COD4, but I didn't stop to think about that the whole console performance would suffer.. They should've been prepared for it, but instead I guess they were too busy raking in all the Gravy.
I'll be satisfied with an official apology from that Tool Major Nelson and a free XboX Original download.
If they wanted to do something nice, they'd comensate a little bit more than 2 dollar arcade game that people are not going to like

To me, the appropriate thing to do, would be add on time to people's Live membership, since CoD4 came out to now their service has absolutely sucked, I dont want a crappy $2 game like stated earlier, I wanna an extension on the $50 service I pay for...

WRONG
The Xbox Live service was fine until Christmas-time when more than 10 million people hit the service at once. Prior to that the service was fine, on which I enjoyed nearly 2 months of flawless service.
Also, point me to any arcade game that is $2. I'd like to see it. They're typically $10.
You also forgot to say, that the only arcade game to date that is worth the money is the TMNT one.
