Rumor has it that Microsoft will be revealing plans for a new 360 model at CES this week.

The new box is said to be called The Xbox 360 Ultimate, and will feature:
1080p HDMI Output
Built-in Wifi
Built-in HD-DVD Drive
Cooler and less noisy hardware

Care to share the source? I don't doubt that it is false, given that it is a foolish decision to release an aptly named Ultimate box after already having sold millions of lesser 360s.

Now, coupled with a trade-in promotion, that could be worth considering.
