Theres a few ways out there that can do this if you have vids that wont show up or won't play on your 360 but this is my way. You know a simpler way, post it. No need for the "your an idiot" post since I'm only trying to help those who didn't know.

1. Go download Mediacoder. And after that install it and don't change any of the settings.

2. Go and download Divx movie player. (If your downloading your movies from here or are going to use divx files that don't work)

3. Download your movie clip and save it in a new folder, desktop, where ever just make sure you can find it, doesn't matter what type of file it is. (I know of a website where you can get some movies but I wont post due to the fact that they host links to illegal stuff).

4. Now go open Media coder and on the bottom of the white section you'll see some tabs, click video.

You'll then see some boxes to the right. Choose what type of file you want to change the video to. Leave the first one as an Xvid and then change the second one from MP4 to AVI so it looks like this:

(* note if after following each step and the video doesn't play, you can change the "format" to windows media and the "container" to default).
a. Also Make sure you have the audio set to LAME Mp3:

5. After that on the top right hit add file:
open the spot where you put the movie and double click it. Then hit start on the same row as add file and just wait

6. After its done converting the file will have two versions, one a white page ()and the other a white page with a little movie like clip on it that says AVI(). You can delete the white page and keep the avi file. Now go to your dash board pick videos, hit x or y to pick source, pick your computer and the folder where the video is at should be there with the movie.
(*note, after a while or by plaing the avi file with windows media it should look like this: image not displayed)

Enjoy . If you have any error codes while trying to convert the video or you changed up all of the settings and can't remember the defaults your best bet will be to just uninstall it and download it again. If you followed it step by step then you shouldn't have any problems. I'm using vista so I might not be able to tell you what your specific problem is, if you have one. Ask if theres any confusion and I will help as best I can.
