I've been struggling to get online with my PS3 since I got it.
Error Code 8002AD23 - I can't get a straight answer out of anyone on how to fix this not even on Message boards and I need a translator for PS3 Support when I call. Nobody in my surrounding area has a PS3.

It has something to do with my BT-Mic. I've restored my defaults, had friends tinker with the router, nothing.
I can play online , but with no Mic...when I try to connect with the BlueTooth turned on, it gets all messed up.

If the Mic is turned on when I look for a game in COD4 it stays on the " Downloading Game Settings Screen " forever and a day and no game will load. If I don't use a Mic , it's all good.
So, I did an experiment and restored my Mic defaults and used the old wired Logitec Socom Headset and got a different PS3 Error Code and an " Error 33 " message also on the COD4 game.

Very frustrating

I don't know if you have a BlueTooth Headset and are getting the same Error Code as me ?? 8002AD23 ? Even if you're timing out you should be getting some kind of error code.
I have a tech stopping by later on today at 5PM for something with my Dad's PC. I'm going to see what , if any , input he may have with getting my PS3 online. I'll let you know.

I just called Sony for shits and giggles and they couldn't tell me what the Error Code exactly meant , even though they made it and did exactly what I expected them to do.......
" Call your Router Company " who will tell me to " Call Your Cable Company " who will ask me what Headset I use and then they'll say " You need to Call Motorola " who will say to me " You need to call the FCC " Who will then say " You're in violation of FCC Code 8002AD23 and you will be fined, afterwhich they'll say " You Need to call Playstation ! " Love it.... LOVE IT

That's what I always disliked about Florida; the high cost of living. Up here in PA, frustration of that magnitude can be found for far less than $600.
