The Canadian version of Rock Band (PS2, PS3, X360) will ship to retailers on December 20, developer Harmonix has confirmed to Shacknews. Though the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Rock Band arrived in the United States in mid-November, the Canadian editions were formally delayed just eight days before release. At the time, Harmonix owner MTV Games told Shacknews the game had been pushed back until December 17, just one day before the PlayStation 2 edition is slated to launch.
Earlier this week, retailer listings indicated copies of the game would not start shipping until December 28, causing some to believe that the Canadian version of the game had once again been delayed.

It has been speculated that it was packaging issues.
In Canada, there is a law that all Packages must have both the English and French-Canadian text on them. Obivousally the name does not have to be translated but the manual, synopsis, rating, basically anything on the back of the case must be in english and french
