I would go with the XBOX 360. I bought the Playstation 3, but I soon returned it because of the game choice and the people. Yes, good games will be released soon but I don't feel like waiting that long. The people that I played with never talk on the headset, or they speak a different language. It is hard to communicate with them while in the game. Even though that the XBOX has some problems such as the Ring of Death can be fixed or replaced.

Honestly I was never that big of a Halo fan. I respect what it has done for Xbox, with it being its killer app and all. But the story wasn't that good, and it really just felt like another futuristic 1st person shooter to me. Not to say it's a bad game, but I prefer CoD, and since I got my Xbox back from Microsoft, that's probably what I'll end up getting (the first game I've bought for it in months). That, Madden 08 and the new Smackdown game.

And the customer service team is excellent. I just got my Xbox back today, and I feel they've done a great job with my investment (they couldn't fix it so they sent me a new one). So don't worry about the problems, because they're pretty good about fixing them. [/fellatio]

Imo the 360 is well worth the money and possible hassle. Just put it through its paces within 30 days and if it dies you can take it back to where you bought it from and exchange it. I've got 4 360s and not one of them has given me any problems. 2 i bought from the store and the other 2 i bought off ebay and fixed the dvd drives.

Why the hell do you, or anybody, need 4 360s? Unless you're always hosting some kind of tournament.

PS3 is the better way to go. It has better exclusive titles and multi-platform games look better on it. For the type of games you said you liked, PS3 is what you want.

Well, what kind of games do you like playing? In Canada the PS3's price dropped down to $399. I would overall reccomend you saving your money and get a PS3, although the decision is nowhere near mine to make. Though good games for the PS3 are comming out VERY soon, such as Rachet & Clank Future Tools Of Destruction, Grand Theft Auto 4, and MGS 5. The 360 has it's good games to, like Bioshock. Don't take it from me, take it from your gut feeling.

I would suggest to purchase the XBOX 360. I had a Playstation 3 before and I was not impressed at all. The only think that impressed me was the internet browser for like a day of two. I did not like any of the games that the Playstation 3 has to offer. The only two games that I played were Rainbow Six: Vegas and Warhawk. They both are not the best games out there. Anways, I got bored of the Playstation 3. Quickly I decided to return the Playstation 3 and get an XBOX 360 instead. I have way more fun using my XBOX than the Playstation 3. I know more people that play the XBOX, and I like the games. Even though that the XBOX has problems, it can be sorted out. I had the Red Ring of Death and I fixed it myself without even sending it in. It works fine now and I am having no problems.
