I've sent it back more than once, since this is now my 7th and soon to be 8th console (for some reason my network adapter no longer works in my 360, so somehow my usb ports got fried along the way or somethin'), and they were all past the first year without red rings.

so you've paid over a grand to get your 360 fixed? That's insane, and sad. Should've just bought a PS3 or a Gaming PC with that money.

yeah, like it says, it takes anywhere from 10-30 tries to read the disk, annoying but could live with it but won't lol.

No, I've never had to pay anything is what I was saying. Regardless of the Red Ring or not... I would buy an Elite before paying to have one fixed. The Elite gets all the best parts, aka, the ones that go through all the rigorous quality testing. And I already have both a PS3 and gaming pc... |

At least you got them to replace it. If not i would have taken it to walmart and got an exchange. Walmart will exchange anything ;)
