Similar to Gears of War game?

Hello,
I am in love with the Gears of War game for the 360. Ive played it a few times at my friends house and love it. Can anyone recommend some games that are similar in gameplay to it? Ive got killswitch for ps2 which was an utter dissapointment. I only have a pc, psp, ps2, and a gamecube so Id like a game for those sytems. Thanks!

What did you love so much about it?

The awesome graphics?

The insane level of violence and blood that resembles grape jelly?

Story mode or multiplayer?

The cover system?

Characters who have humongous appendages, tiny heads, and speakers on their chest-plates?

I agree... provided you have a co-op friend to play alongside of... that makes it 1000 times more fun to play through, in my opinion.

yea, i didnt realize you could even do that until i was almost finished with the game

Actually the other way around.

Well if you play Co op its not so bad, but the storyline is pretty bad.

The multiplayer is really good though in my opinion.

I played through the single player campaign 4 times. Thats the only game i've ever done that with. Usually when i beat a game i'll go back every now and again but GoW had me hooked. I can't wait for the sequal.
