I also think, that with a built in one, and if the sales numbers are high (obviously they cant start making HD-DVD games when all the consoles to date could not play them), they will start adopting the media for games. They simply will never use it for games. It has been brought up before, and they said nope.
I know they said no. But they also say no about alot of things, all of which have come to fruition. I dont think it's currently likely that they will, but they cannot dismiss it all together like they have been. Soon enough they will run out of space and excuses for using DVD.

It is very unlikely that the 360 will get to 100 million sales. I think it will be pretty close this whole generation. Lets just say it is 60-60-60. If they make games for HD-DVD only that screws over about 25% of total 360 owners if they were to make the switch starting next year.
