I already did quote you on part of your original comment... I was trying to be stealthy the way I referred to your post when Dirt posted what he did.
Besides, I think you have the market cornered on being a "clever bastard"... but I have to know, is everyone over there in jolly ole England as gloomy as you always seem to be?

Meh, not really.
I like to see the reality of life isntead of the idealistic world people like to think they live in. I'm not gloomy, living in England you learn to live with a pesimistic view to save dissapointment since most life here is total ****. Im not emo or suicidal in general so dont ask, I dont like to put a nice front on for people. I say what I mean and I mean what I say, in the (close to) 2 years of my forum presence, people should have learned that. Me saying the HDD is pointless doesnt really give reason to turn this thread into a personal defense on my part because other people dont like the way I think.
I can't really comment on the stealth level of your post since I don't see how it applies.
If you feel like PMing me rather than locking this thread, feel free.

Thanks, but no thanks.
The thread will remain open... for now, anyway.

I would buy an Elite first anyway. It's been proven and written in many magazines and articles, that they get all the best parts. The ones that went through all the rigorous stress tests, etc... Kinda crappy for all early adopters, but hey thus is business. I don't really care all that much about the HDMI, I want a damn web browser update already. Does anyone else think Microsoft is stupid for not doing that? Its not like it would be hard, the 360 already runs Windows.

In one word, no, I don't think they were stupid for not adding a web browser on the 360. If I want to surf the internet, I have my ever trusty PC to do that... besides, my PC will more than likely not give me the red ring o' death display if I have it turned on for too long.
Besides, my PS3 has a web browser too... if my wife is using the PC, I can use the PS3 for a browser.

See for me, my computer is downstairs and my 360 upstairs in my room. This is gonna make me sound extremely lazy, but sometimes I just don't wanna go downstairs and turn on my computer. I would just like to be able to check my email or some light browsing. I just don't understand why they wouldn't put it in. With all the connectivity they have with Windows Media Center, etc. At least then you could have the option, I still hope though, somewhere down the line they will add one, even if I only used it twice. But I agree, I wouldn't be goin' too crazy since my 360 loves to swoon me with the "gerrr" sound and then those beautiful three red lights. Maybe eventually they'll just give me the Elite, this is now my seventh (yes, I said seventh) 360. All never abused, all never used for three hour plus gaming sessions (the longest was about two hours, I can't marathon game, my eyeballs start to fry).

I too like huge custom music lists and I don't have one now because I'm afraid I'll use up too much memory. There are a lot of fun games on the marketplace that I want to get and there are so many other great games coming out that I don't think I'll have enough memory for all of it. I have to find one of those transfer cables too, any ideas where I could get one?

The transfer cable comes bundled inside the 120gb HDD "pack"... otherwise, I think they can be purchased separately through Microsoft.

There, you can order your free cable, as long as you have some serial numbers that go with the HDD's or something....might have to pay like, 3$ shipping or something, idk.

Thanks for the "help", but I already have a 120gb HDD retrofitted on my (premium) Xbox 360... hopefully, your link can assist other people with the transfer.
I think Dirt was looking to do the same thing that I already did, in terms of swapping the 20gb HDD for a 120gb HDD.
