Yeah, but what does it do, is what he was asking.

It is just that:the set up. Meaning, its how you do anything on your PS3. Navigate through music, vids, games, etc. All of the user optinos are there too.

If you have ever played a PSP, it is the navigation menu. They use it on the PS3 and also some SONY TV's.

Basically, you "scroll" right and left to such items as video, music, settings, etc. Then you "scroll" up and down to pick each item under the main one. For example: You scroll to Settings, you then scrool up and down and you will see things like network settings, sounds settings, etc.

I hope that explains it, I struggled to even form that bit of jibberish.

Update 2.0 will be in about 1 month along with the release of Home.

The list of features in this update are not confirmed, but we should be seeing in-game XMB and other huge features considering it is the big 2.0.

I know you may not know for sure but how much hard drive space will this take up? and where can I upgrade my hard drive to like 250gb? I heard home is going to be 5gb's and xmb sounds like more, so I just wanted to know if any one knew.

xmb is already in place bro, the patch to get it to work in game is probably only going to be a few hundred bytes; ie, a few lines of code. Home is reported to be around 500 megabytes.

While we are on the subject, does anyone know where you can check how much total space you have left on your PS3?

I figured Home wouldn't be that large, considering it will mainly run through a network connecting every online PS3 out there.
