Honestly, Gamerscore isn't that important. Sure it's fun to show people what you unlocked in a game and what you have been able to do in a game, but don't put too much emphasis on that. Play the games for fun. When it becomes a chore, it becomes something hard to tolerate.
I say just play them all whenever you have time, have fun, but put more time into new games you haven't played.
I got 7077 GPs but it honestly doesn't phase me at all. I haven't even played a game since february. Waiting for Assassin's Creed, GTA IV, and Halo 3. I guess I may go back and play a few games with replay value, like Saint's Row.

Don't be a douche by buying games for achievements.
There I said it.

Agreed^
Why don't you just make your "offline" account your "online" account, you can do that you know.

You mean to tell me that Saints Row has replay value?
After seeing the ending of this game, I couldn't rush to the store fast enough to trade it in.

I play all games for fun but i like to have a decent gamerscore not 300 when i could have more. but if a ok game cost around 10 bucks for a quick and fun 1000 gamerscore i dont have a problem with buying it.like most of those games i have are my lil brothers or big i only buy games i know iam gonna play for a long time like Rainbow, gears and halo.

I gotta admit, I got hung up with achievements for awhile....and it made playing games horrible.....so I took a break, and am now playing games for fun again, instead of waiting to see the lil unlock popup...

I like unlocking them for personal satisfaction. I'm not into the bragging aspect of it. Achievements encourage me to explore different avenues and options in games that I would otherwise ignore, with my ADD and all.
