I'm not saying the games, since both consoles share most of the games. WIth the SONY hardware you'd still have extremely revolutionary (yet difficult to develop for in the beginning) hardware, but the software would be very user friendly as would the online service.

Technically, I'd say that Nintendo is the best console maker... out of all the systems I have owned in the past, Nintendo's seem to be the ones that last the longest.
(Let's not forget the problems Sony had with the hardware failures on PS1 and PS2... I wouldn't say they're innocent.)
In my opinion... Sony should be in charge of making the (high def) televisions, and Microsoft should be in charge of the shipping and receiving of defective consoles, which is something they already have lots of experience in.

Even if MS has alot of experience in the shipping/handling of consoles, it doesn't mean they know what they're doing.

How do you figure? I'm at least happy to report that none of the boxes shipped to me (or to them) were ever "lost in the mail".
Considering the amount of repairs it looks like they have made, or have to make in the future, whomever works on their shipping and receiving dock has job security for the next three years.
(Maybe I should fax them my resume? Hmmmm...)

Actually, maybe I should since I'm in dire need of a job.

How about Sony makes the hardware because they are really good at it. Make it really powerful, and what not. But then have Nintendo inspect it and make changes if necessary to it before it is released, since none of their consoles break! Then every package will include a wii-mote like controler and a regular controller. The wii-mote controller can be used on Nintendos games, MP3, Mario, Brawl, but also for downloadable Wii-mote exclusive arcade games. Then Microsoft can work on getting Online content.........that is worth getting (A lot of stuff on Xbox live marketplace is like, who gives a ****, right?). Since this combined company is a Monopoly, they won't have to worry about money as much, so they can have a really kick *** sweet FREE online system, while the system is still fully backwards compatable with PS1, PS2, xbox, and somehow gamecube games. Then ofcoure there will be arcade games, the exclusive Wii-mote ones, new, pretty innovating colorful arcade games from Playstation, while Microsoft finds extremely old "classic" games, but then ruin them in a dumbass remake. **** YOU MS, ****ing up Contra like that, you have no right! (But thanks for Ultimate mortal kombat 3! If it wasn't for that the 360 would be collecting dust, hehe)
Can anyone argue with that?

Microsoft's reputation is already stained as far as the 360. At least now they are verbally addressing the issue which is a start. The whole " Our systems don't fail " denial is what really pisses me off. I'll take 3 Years extra on my warranty.
No, Microsoft won't be able to please everybody and they sure as hell will never be able to please Zero. But as long as I don't have anymore issues, I'm fine. Game On
