I'd say trade in your PS2..do you play any other games on it besides Socom? I know Socom is playable on the PS3..

You can also keep the 360, and trade in SOME of the games(keep the ones you want still) to get you some more cash. I thought you were excited about Huxley?

Keep your 360, I just got my 360 back and I realize how good it really is. I had it when most people didn't have a 360 on this site, and all of my friends didn't have live. Right now I'd rather play GOW than any other game out..

Sell everything you have along with your television, computer, car/boat/motorcycle, house and fridge. Especially since your waiting for halo3!!!!!!!!! tisk, tisk.

2 of my games purchased at $60 now have a trade-in value of $5. It is not worth it to trade in any games, especially new ones. I would suggest (only if you are strapped for cash) to trade in your ps2 and and controllers, no games. Down the road you could pick up a ps2 for less than you traded yours in for and still have the games and memory cards. I traded in my xbox for cash towards 360. Most my games were backwards compatable, but just in case I bought a memory card and saved my files to it and held on to all my games. Still got a chunk from the system and an assload of controllers.


I honestly don't even think it is a good idea to buy a PS3. Wait a year or two. There aren't enough games to invest $800 in right now. 360 has a lot of great games coming out in the fall. I'm waiting for a price drop to get the ps3 if I even get it at all.

The only way I could ever see myself buying a PS3 before then would be if dvds become similar to vhs in that even hd dvds will be so inferior to bluray that they won't even sell them anymore. In that case the ps3 is the cheapest bluray player on the market.

Now bob, ask yourself first: Once you get the PS3, what will you do? Will you play a lot? What game were you expecting to have in PS3? Is there any good games on PS3? Will you regret to buy a PS3 when it's too expensive? You see, there is a lot of questions to ask before investaging(sp?) a 600$ machine.

You say you love Halo? Then keep the 360, new games are coming out... The game of Shooter with MMO, I thought you were waiting for that? I would just keep the 360 because you worked hard to get it and you have 1 year of Xbox Live. What a waste of money!!! I say you KEEP the 360 and sell the PS2.

Vegas is amazing, so what if it's a port from the 360. September = Warhawk.
August = Lair. November might = Socom. A little patience never killed anyone (not terminally ill).
