The bias against PS3

Haha ironicly enough im on my ps3 right now... gotta love the browser... any who back on topic.

All im saying is if we stop fighting over whose system is better, and put the same amount of energy into bettering the system from the time we first started seeing 'fanboys/fangirls, (or ya know.. curing cancer or something, but thats not that important lol) could you imagin where we would be rather than where we are? hell im on my ps3 listning to music surfing the internet and talking to a friend, if we really focused all that energy we put into bashing the 360/ps3 i could probaly also have my ps3 brushing my teeth and washing my hair while having it sit in my pocket...

Well the ps3 does cost more. But id say the main reason why more people own 360s is because they have been out a lot longer. Im thinking about buying another one at some point. I have a ps3 but don't really use it until some better games come out.

I know that this has said by almost every one that has replied to this thread, but I'm going to say it again. A lot of people dislike the PS3 because of it's "high" price (I put it in quotations because some of these people are willing to throw thousands of dollars away for some shiny rims that are 1" bigger that their current ones, and some of these people are the ones that complain). Also, there are those kids who will hate anything because their friend tells them too. Also, the PS3 has gotten a lot more attention from the media than the 360, so people will hate it because they think that Sony is "selling out". Then there are the games. How many popular game series have been put on to the PS3? Very little, and those that have are mainly sports games or games that got popular because of the PS3 (Resistance, for example). I beleive that when the more popular games like Ratchet & Clank, MGS4, and SOCOM come out, the PS3 will be liked more, but at the same time hated more. And as for the "selling out" part, there is another reason besides the media attention that would cause people to hate it for that reason. Because some of the popular games like the Armored Core series have gone multiplatform, and the hardcore fans of these series think that Sony has betrayed them, and thus hate the PS3. And now that I'm done with my non-sensical and very poorly organized post, let us sing the doom song. Doom doom doom doom doom.... (a little something for you Invader ZIM fans)

I dont have a PS3, but I have a 360, and I dislike the 360 more. I have played the PS3 multiple times and I just seem to like it better. I think it is a higher quality. People can argue all the time what has better options, content, and etc. But I feel the PS3 is in a different league when it comes to quality, and durability.


But for the most part, all the bias towards the PS3 is because of just the high price.......and some say that it barely has any good games, but that will change by christmas.
