Since when? Yah, maybe for online games and strictly online gamers.

Since you pointed out that the difference between the two lies in their online features.

That's enough for me. I have lots of friends that play COD4 online ( Try to anyway ) on the PS3 and they're always getting Kicked and/or having Mic problems. With Battlefield online it's the same thing, issue after issue. With update after update and yet nothing seems to improve that really matters. The in game XMB is nice and all, but why bother if you can't even hook up and speak to your friends anyway. Microsoft has 2 updates a year that improves upon what they have already. Sony has numerous updates and nothing seems to improve that's overwhelming. I envy the few people that can say that they have no issues. Sony's saving grace is the fact that Microsoft's 360 has had numerous mechanical failures that are becoming less and less but the online connectivity and performance is still top notch. Whenever my 360 has to go to the hospital, I guess I'll always have my bastard stepchild PS3 to keep me busy for a week or so. That's when I'm forced to enjoy single player games.

And these people are commonly referred to as those who are so full of ****, their eyes are brown.

Yeah, when my Pro died on the Battlefield release and I went and bought an Elite, I wasn't really mad that my 360 RROD'd on me. To be honest my first reaction was "F#ck, now I have to play on this thing (PS3)".

I usually don't play a lot of online games to begin with.
Only ones I play online on the PS3 are Warhawk (which runs very well), and Metal Gear Online, which is fine most of the time. Only thing bad about MGO is the lag during 16 player matches. I prefer 10-12 player matches however.
Now that I have a new PC, most of my online playing is stricly PC, lol.
Can't wait for LittleBigPlanet though. *drools*

The towel trick worked for me about 1 week. It just about got me through till the coffin came. After I used the towel method I only had 1 ring. I dont think M$ checked though. My refurb runs great.

I rarely had an issue with COD4 on the PS3. That's not to say I didn't have an occasional internet outage or server just poops on me. My only issue was people who would camp insistently. That drove me crazy.

I'm just trying to say that I notice more lag when playing on the (free) PlayStation Network. To be honest, I notice some lag while just being logged on PSN, and I am playing a game like Madden 09. Hell, I even had my PS3 lock up minutes ago after I (thankfully) just completed a winning game of Madden 93 - all while logged on the network.
This occurance is not a deal breaker for me, mind you... but it does make me irritated from time to time. I've dealt with worse online issues on the PS2, I can say that much for sure.
