Oh she shut right up and went on with the transaction. She sounded just like the " One Time At Band Camp Girl " from the American Pie movies. I was hungover and getting very aggravated. If I was her manager and found out she was giving customers 25 minute lectures on the misfortunes of the 360, I'd fire her arse on the spot. Half way through her spiel I just wanted to turn around and walk out and go elsewhere and then tell the manager on the way out. Granted the 360 is indeed known for it's mechanical failures but that's not how you do business.
I wanted to go to Best Buy and get one but I've forever shunned them because of when you return something now even with a protection plan such as a 360 they charge a 10-15 % " Restocking Fee " which to me is legalized rape.

True... very true, indeed. Sounds like some kind of bodily violation...

I dont blame you. I love my 360 when it works. M$ seems to ruin gaming from time to time for everyone though. RIP Oxford's who knows how manyeth XBOXs

Don't worry he's been "taken care of."
I might be selling my 360 also. The damn thing takes a good 5 minutes to turn on. Meaning when I push the power button nothing happens until a good 5 minutes have passed. I'm probably going to sell it and then fork out the extra cash to buy a PS3.

I've never heard of that problem before. That sucks.
I may be mistaken , but I seem to recall a few members on here selling their 360's because of mechanical failures for a PS3 and then ending up buying a 360 all over again.

You really don't lose much as far as gaming goes from switching from a 360 to a PS3, since every god damn game is multiplatform, lol.
Only thing that changes are some features, mostly online stuff. Since the PS3 has the in-game XMB now, it isn't THAT annoying.

Well, the 360 does have quite a few titles that aren't on another console, so I wouldn't say that "everything is multiplatform". While there are many games that are on both systems it really comes down to whether you like the exclusives on one system or think they're worth it.

Games can be Multiplatform all they want. What it boils down to in the end is online quality and performance.
