After going out to the middle of nowhere to hang with friends for most of the weekend, all I wanted to do was come home on Sunday and play games all day. Apparantely there was a giant storm and mass flooding while I was gone. My 360 , hooked up to it's own surge protector got Zapped. Yay !!!
So, I went out and got an Elite. Runs nice and quiet. I hooked up my Elite to the old power adapter at first as an experiment and The Elite didn't work. I threw on the new power adapter and everything was fine. So hopefully I just need a new Power Adapter for my old 360 and I've got more than a few peeps to sell my 360 in a nice package deal to Re-Coop my lossses.
Other than going to see Hellboy 2 last night I played games all day and didn't once receive a " Cannot Read Disc " message, which was nice.
The funny part is I got it from Toys R Us and the check out girl there was trying vigorously to talk me out of buying a new 360. She said she has a PS3 that she's never had problems with, but that she doesn't play online FPS.

The chick just wouldn't shut -up. I told her that I would be selling my old 360 and would be taking maybe a $50.00 loss because of a lightning storm. I've taken much greater losses from those. I told her that I have a PS3 that just sits around collecting dust that isn't worth a shot-glass of piss online.
Oh Well
