Thats an opinion, not a fact.

I dropped my 360 down the steps last night, about 20 of them. I really didn't fell like starting it up or anything so I waiting until this morning. Nothing seemed broken on the outside, no cracks or dents.
So I plug in the power cord and DOH! The red ring shows up....only because the AV wires weren't plugged in. I then fixed that and started it up again. Ta-da! works perfect.

Xbox 360 RROD Repair Service
This place will fix them for $59, at least you get your console fixed and not a refurb sent back to you.

Let this serve as reminder to you if you have have children someday.
My reaction to that would've been similiar to John Belushi's in Animal House when he sees his precious case of booze dropped and shattered.

I got my cast off my knee after a few months and was kind of stumbling around in this brace I got. I stumbled right before the steps and dropped my 360 to grasp the railing. Well I dropped the 360 on the first step and it just kept tumbling all the way down....

wish me luck guys. i shipped mine off to microsoft december 4th. i called to check my repair status today and was informed that my 360 has been fixed and shipped to ups for delivery back to me within 3-5 buisness days.
i know there's no way on earth they actually fixed my console and shipped it out that fast (ESPECIALLY for free). i know i'll be getting a refurbed console, and i also know that it'll inevitably break again sometime within the next 6 months. now the good news is that it's no longer my headache, as soon as it ringed me i sold it to my room mate.
