So I dusted off the PS3 and tried out that Heavenly Sword demo. That is lookin like a nice game right there.

and me too. mine lasted 5 months. but i got it fixed and now it has an F-22-turbofan-engine-like fan iinside (they replaced the sissy fan that came with it). never ever gets more than just a BIT warm. but thats a mod. not the intercooler crap.

Cool, their installing better fans now? Thats news to me..

How long did it take you to get yours back? The first one I returned over a year ago took about 7 to 10 days to get back to me refurbished. Im wondering what the wait time is now.

The most recent 360 that was returned to me runs much cooler than either of the others that I've had... as I said earlier, the one returned to me was manufactured in April 2007. I am guessing that the reason it runs cooler is because of these new fans that are supposed to be installed in all of the newer model 360s.

First time I sent in my 360, took less than a week to get returned to me.

Second time I sent in my 360 (two weeks later), it took me over two weeks to get it back.

I think the reason for the longer wait time is due to everyone sending theirs in to be fixed, now that Microsoft extended the "RRoD" error warranty to three years.

Well I had quite the little scare.

I picked my 360 up from the post office, because I bought it off BoyEngland and he had to ship it. Take it home, unpack everything, plug it in to just the wall to see if it works, and what am I greeted by? 4 red lights. I am freaking out and decide to plug it into my tv. Then it worked. I am guessing that 4 lights is an faulty or missing connection?

Yes, it was probably because you didn't have it completely connected.

If you're av cables are either connected to the tv and not the 360, or vice versa, you'll get the lights. The first time i hooked up my 360 i didn't have the adapter all the way in on the 360 and got the lights, and was like "well god dammit, i knew that would happen but i wanted to play first...". Turns out its never happened, even though I'm on 360 number 2.

They can not be plugged into the TV and you will not get the red lights. You only get it if the cables are not connected to the 360.

You probably got a nice cold sweat across your forehead and felt felt like you were going down in an elevator when you saw that. LMAO
