Like I said I was looking for my Charts and Graphs. The point I was trying to get across was the ratio.

The PS3 right now, from what I have heard, is selling a bit faster then that of the 360 during the same time frame when it was released, The 360 after a year and a half- around 10 million, PS3 after 6 months about 3.5 million. The numbers are never exact, but the PS3 is following pretty close to the 360. The 360 sales are pretty constant but jumped here in there during things such as the release of the Elite. The wii is selling 200+ thousand a week pretty much destroying everything else. Most people are waiting for those killer aps for the PS3 to come out before purchasing one, or waiting for that price drop. So once those happens, the PS3 sales will peak like crazy. While the 360 won't have as drastic sales peaks (there will always be the groups of people picking on up after a certain time because of certain games or what not, but there isn't realy anything in the future of the 360 to hint to amazing sales boost. Halo 3 might, but I figure most people who want Halo 3 already have a 360.), while the Wii shows no signs of slowing down, lol.

Yeah, but you gotta figure that the Wii is like 50 bucks. I know it's not really 50 bucks, but when compared to the cost of the alternatives, the Wii is more likely to get an impulse buy from a casual gamer.

Also, Nintendo has an awesome PR campaign going on for the Wii. Mothers and Fathers gaming with their kids? Anything that targets that will sell like hotcakes because (good) parents want to do stuff with their kids.

If you compare the PS3 and 360 ads to Wii ads, there's a HUGE difference in the overall message. The Wii is designed & targeted towards casual gamers, while the big boxes are for the more habitual ones.

And I'm not calling BS on your figures Zero, because I don't figure you as a make-stuff-up kinda guy, but could you post a link to your source? I'm just interested in reading it.

Pretty much that whole post was explaining why Nintendo is sooo freaking smart xD. More power to them.

But the places where I get the console sales are just, seeing threads here and there on many different forums. Places like VGCharts, VGChartz, Videogame Charts - The Most Comprehensive Videogame Charts in the World , also along with sales data occasionally released by the company themselves, talking about the games and systems.

That is why I said 10-11 million, 3.5-4 million, those are the most common numbers. Microsoft said they past 10 million a long time ago, and they are around 13-14 million, but their was this big deal about them extremely channel stuffing, and they found out just recently they are around 10 million now.

You know it... it turned out to be a no-brainer when my brother-in-law (Tapeworm) and his wife bought a Wii for their family a few weeks back. It gives them a chance to play games with their two kids on the weekends... but I am convinced that Larry just wanted to play the Wii himself.

That's cool too. It's kinda like when I bought Viva Pinata, and the kid at Gamestop looked at me funny... I said "It's for my wife."

He probably gave you a funny look because he was planning on buying that copy of the game.

I have both systems, Play both daily(well try to) and the only problem I've had is the Xbox saying cannot read disc. I simply took it out, Cleaned it off and bam, works again. I did have a scare where my little cousin stepped on one of the cords in the back and slightly jarred it, causing the three red rings. I simply plugged it back in and restarted my 360. Not a problem since...

Hahahah..the day after I got my 360(a couple weeks back) I came home from work, and plopped down on my chair to get some 360 action in..turn it on adn 3 red lights started flashing, my heart dropped..so I shut it off, and unplugged the cables in the back and plugged them back in(when I put them in the first time they didn't really go in that far and I thought to myself "it feels like it should go in more"), turned it back on and worked like a charm.
