i got my 360 from the US, i set my account to US and got a prepaid card for Gold.
can i use an International credit card to buy points/Gold (the service, not the metal) outside the US? and, does the CC gets linked to the gamertag/account?

I don't think that the location(where it was registered/yadda yadda) of the card should be an issue...
i know it SHOULDNT, but then there's crap like having to enter billing address and stuff and it asks for US address and theres no way to get over that. does the Live service has any of that?

I am one of the paranoid masses that doesn't like to broadcast my credit card informatioon over the internet... this is why I always purchase the Marketplace Points and Gold Xbox Live renewal at a local store, where I only have to come home, scratch off the fields, and enter the codes on my Xbox 360.

I think as long as its a Visa or whatever else they accept, it should work.
Now, the numbers of the credit card will be stored on the account, but you can only see the last 4 digits of the card number. So if you wanted to purchase more points, you wont have to re-enter the numbers, but you can't see the numbers. That way, anyone who gets on your account can purchase stuff on XBL but not take the CC numbers into the "real" world and know your card numbers. (confusing?)
You can delete the CC information if you feel like it though, that way there is no chance of "accidental usage".
