I don't think there is a way to delete them, at least not from your end.
Maybe you can call Microsoft and ask them to do it, but Im not sure about that either.
Best is to just leave it on there, you can always use it to mess around on, or use it in the even that the one you currently use is messed up. My friend's friend's account was messed up so they activated a new account for him free of charge. They did something to it when he has his 360 repaired.
