I love the way you think, pal. I too was enticed by this $10.00 gem.

I think the whole thing's a great idea. Yeah, they're trying to get people to buy more games and wear old man aftershave that will make the ladies run for the hills, but it's a start.

I think it'd be a genius marketing move going forward, to do more things like this.

Say if you have a movie coming out that has a companion video game, and they run something like this for a free poster, tickets or dvd. That'd rock.

LOL I was in a bad mood this morning....But this is kinda what I was getting at. XboX Live is / and could be a Sponsor Jauggernaut. Old Spice ?? Am I missing something ? It's awesome that they're offering something , but it should be something a little more catchy or dare I say Trendy.

That's exactly my point.

Where the hell do Old Spice come into the gaming world? They don't!

Get someone involved who is willing to give us more than their advertising products, something I would usually pay for. I am not one for t-shirts with deoderant brands on them, so that idea is out of the window.

Hopefully they [X-Box/Microsoft] will get enough feedback to know if the up-coming program was a failure or not once it's finished. Personally, I dont think it will be a failure, but they will learn to get better sponsors next time.

Just think if this was 15 Years ago...This whole thing would be sponsored by Marlboro or Joe Camel.

That's so incredibly true. Tis a shame, because I'd definitely put in the extra effort for a carton of Camels.

At least they would be worth something!

You stuggle to kill yourself with a shirt, just imagine all the fun you could have with ciggarettes! (sp?)

I mean seriously though, come on Microsoft!

Throw in a few copies of this "oh so wonderful" operating system you have been talking about for the first few hundred people that do something. Throw in a decently worthy game. Maybe even some accessories such as the intercooler that I am yet to see!

I would be satisfied with a decent game myself, the intercooler would be cool, Vista is unrealistic but still possible on their profit margin.

I am surprised Burger King hasn't made a move on being a sponsor though to be honest. Even their stuff would be better than the crap they are giving us from old spice.

Now, if it ever gets sponsored by Jack Daniels, AMC, or something like that, I will go and play gladly.

</rant> lol

Even though I despise The King and am convinced he is the Boogeyman , I couldn't agree with you more.

If Microsoft would offer 1,250 MS points, I would surely register but since it's only 200, I won't. I'm so poor to afford the MS card points.

That reminds me!

I was going to go get a MS Points card today, but my car isn't back from repair.

I will most likely buy them on the marketplace instead, I can buy different quantities then.

They really do need to put some promos out there to give us MS Points though.
