Without a doubt it's a movie tie-in. If you watch the video, the main menu has the cgi turtles from the new movie.
Seeing that this is truely a port from an arcade game, could it not be long until we see other classics like the X-Men game or NBA Jam?

Hell yeah it is. I snagged that up after playing the demo once. Who else got it? I want to do some multiplayer on it.

I downloaded the full version last night before I went into my MLB2K7 franchise mode... I'll be more than happy to play some of Alien Hominid's multiplayer madness with ya sometime soon, Omega.
(I just have to find a way to pry MLB2K7 out of the disc drive.)
