Themes and Gamerpics...

Just cause im a nosy focker...... what themes and gamerpics have you downloaded off marketplace so far and then list what theme and gamerpic you currently use.



i am using the 2nd pack of the battlestations:midway theme. old school girlies...mmmm

as for gamerpics i will dowload tonight.

- Hitman Blood Money "Assassins & Targets" (one of my favorites)
- OXM Condemned (got for free off an OXM demo disc)
- MLB2K6 Chicago Cubs theme

Gamerpics:

- Rainbow Six Vegas (currently running)
- Alpha Dog
- Burger King
- Hitman Blood Money
- Dead Rising

that is correct. i think the themes are pretty cool and worth the points. i am however a little dissapointed in the gamerpics though. some are reasonable but some are outrageous....200 points for a pack of gamerpics id probably only use 1 or 2 out of but oh well......thats life.

Oh man, I got a whole crapload of themes... Currently I'm using one of the Lost Planet ones. My gamerpic is the TH:Wasteland bomb (for obvious reasons. and now also set as my avatar, poor samurai jack, he had a good run of a couple years on these forums). I've made a couple custom themes, but I hate how you can only use one picture for all the system blades. I'm hoping in the future Microsoft will release a patch allowing people to make complete themes, and not just one picture for all the blades.

how do you make your own gamerpic and themes?

To make your own theme you must have a Media Center PC, or you can actually use XP with SP2, you just have to download the Zune Player software/WMP 11. I'm not sure if you can make your own gamerpic. If anything it would only be with the vision camera and I think Microsoft has to approve it. Last I knew though, you couldn't do a custom gamerpic for parental reasons inforced by Microsoft. I dont think many parents would want to see genitals or the like when their kids are playing online.
Also, here is a little tutorial on how to actually put a theme on your 360... It's rather easy...

ah ok thanks Tix. Sounds pretty cool. also i understand about the gamerpic. especially with some of the evil, smart *** kids in this world nowadays. i just wish i could use a pic off the internet or even my avatar from here. maybe one day they will set up where you can put pics liek that as a gamerpic with approval as long as it isnt vulgar etc.

I agree with you on that one LuFeng... Really, all they need to do is deem whats appropriate or not. Hopefully, in the coming months they will address these two things. It would be nice to actually be able to fully customize my 360 (without having to hack it, and then subsequently not be able to play on live). Or like I said before, at least be able to make a completely custom theme, I cant figure out why they havent yet, its not like anyone but the owner sees it...
