I went through the setting on the system and looked for anything relating on that matter. I wasn't able to find anything, but I will do some searching tomorrow when I get up. Someone, somewhere has to know how to do it.

Secondly, this update wasn't as horrible as I originally thought it to be.

Ok, thanks. I could've swore I saw it when I first "examined" my PS3, but I wasn't sure if it was real or just wishful thinking.

And yes, they did fix the graphics issue with PS2 games when playing on the PS2. They had a video on IGN comparing PS2 playing games, PS3 playing games (before the patch), and PS3 playing games after the patch. Before the patch things were more jaggy, but now they look like they should. It is a little odd though, because when I played my games I didn't notice a difference (Socom actually looked less jaggy), but I guess that's why nI'm supposed to wear glasses (I don't because I don't want to).

You have to go to your network settings in SOCOM and add a setting. Just make everything automatic and it should work. By the way your PS2 network set up disc is useless.
