What are good demos?

We cant all afford the games.
So put here what games are good demos =].

I have THP8 demo, which is cool, but timed.

I like the Dead Rising demo, its big, but everything is a weapon, its much fun.


Yeah... so, any that you like/think are worth DLing?

Saints Row demo is good.

Just do the first mission, and play in the open world environment fro how ever long you want.

I will warn you that not all the cars are on there, not all the guns, radio stations, areas, etc.

Nice demo though.

Although I didn't like it, try the Vegas demo. I hated the demo but the game ins't so bad.

I hated the Dead Rising demo cuz I had no idea wtf was happening then i died. had to restart the demo. Went in some door the next time. Cutscene. Demo over.

Rainbow Six: Vegas demo is pretty good before I had the full game. I was addicted. Like the new features... Covers, rappel, etc.

Ahah... same thing happened to me the first time, the cut scene thing. But if you figure it out, you can run around, theres like, shopping carts and skatebords you can ride and run down zombies. its fun. =]

I 2nd that, nice demo. If you haven't already played it try Gears of War demo.

I enjoyed the PGR3 demo. You only get one track to race on, and one other for a time trial, but I still find it pretty fun, trying to work my way up through the difficulties.

IMO, it's the best of the racing demos I've played.

If you're looking for above average demos, then I'd suggest a subscription to Official Xbox Magazine. They even sometimes have hidden imported demos on their monthly discs... sometimes even unlockable themes and gamerpics unavailable via an Xbox Live download.

Plus, you don't have to download the demos... and a good number of demos fit on one of their discs.

But I did download the Smackdown vs. Raw 2007 demo (which made me pre-order it even faster)... I thought it was well worth it.

To be honest, that's the only demo download that I've made... I normally stick to the OXM discs.

But I am thinking about downloading the Crackdown demo... I've heard good things about it.

"Good demos" to me are one of two things:

1-It's a game I'm fairly interested in playing, and will play the demo to determine whether or not I will purchase it.

2-It's a fun and quick game, good for some instant action.

Those that fall under #2 are ones I keep for a while. They're great for when you're bored and none of your pals are on, or playing a game that you own.

Personally, I prefer demos that aren't only for Multiplayer.

Lost Planet demo is really fun to me, i love it, its the funnest demo i played so far.
