Need router setup help

So my brother just recently got a ps2 and we have two of them hooked up to the same router to play socom. But now my ps2 lags like crazy, but his doesnt. I reset the modem and router and still nothing. The wires are all good and plugged in right. I know my cable modem can handle it. I turn off the computor when we play so its only two things working off the router at once. Is there a setting i need to change on my router? I have a Linksys router and a Terayon modem. Any help would be great.

The best advice to the quickest way to get them both online is to call linksys for support. We had similar problems, and linksys tech was able to set us back up in no time. If you use the 2 routers you have, one for each ps2, I'm not really sure how the other brand works. Are you using a wireless game adapter to feed off your routers or do you run cords into the excess ports?

So the auto doesn't work. You should be able to find your IP on your PC. Or if you have the paper work from your provider it should have it on there. Otherwise call your service. I know what you mean with linksys, they are a real pain when it comes to help. I used a wireless game adapter that fed off the main linkys router so I didn't have to run a cord 50 feet into the other room. If all else fails, you could pick one of those up. They work great and you get the same quality connection as a cord. They aren't that expensive, but, I would keep messing with the settings and try some different combos.
