Man, BAMF after you had to restart because of that disc error earlier, I jumped into a game, and talk about spawn camping....I think the map was called library or something like that...we were alpha, bravo was a clan and they were at the top of the stairs of our spawn in about a minute, and they didn't leave...definately no fun..

Yeah, there's a good deal of spawn camping, and near spawn camping in the Team Sharpshooter modes. It sucks, but just like Socom, the name of the game is suppression.

My clan plays aggressively and while we don't allow sitting in an enemy's spawn, we do close in on the choke points, and do our damnedest not to let them pass.

Probably the best ways to avoid being camped or controlled, is play modes other than Team Sharpshooter. Retrieval's a fun mode that has each team having to retrieve and deposit an item; whoever deposits the most wins. Attack & Defend is for point-whoring, which everyone does. Team Survival is just like Sharpshooter, but without the respawning. It makes people play differently.

If you're going to play Team Sharpshooter, avoid 'Streets', 'Kill House', 'Calypso Casino', 'Library', 'LVU Campus' and 'Casino Vault'. Those are the easiest maps to suppress your enemy on.

That leaves the boring maps though. Casino Vault is the greatest map in the game.

I was thinking, "What would that leave BAMF to play on R6V multiplayer?" when I read Omega's last post... I almost always see you playing that map, BAMF.



I'm sure I will try all of them, once I get my XBL Vision camera in a day or two... except "Team Sharpshooter" maps, of course... I'm no sniper.

Hell yeah. It's a fast paced and fun map. The rest are boring to me. I just hate when Bravo team sits on the ledge above the vault and camps the exits.

You don't need to be a sniper. Team Sharpshooter is just suppression respawn. Any and all guns can be used.

I think that leaves Border Town, Research Labs, The Dam and Dantes. But those can all be camped.

With the amount of newbies on there lately, it's pretty much anyone's game unless you've got a good squad.
