Transfer Game Saves from Ps2 to PS3
Ok. How do I do this? The main reason I got the 60GB is because it has wireless and I thought mem card readers.

I need to get my game saves from my ps2 to the virtual mem card in the ps3. I have a hdd for the ps2, along with a flash drive. Is there any way I can do this?

You've tried using a memory card adapter? That's how I trnsferred my saves.

Go to Walmart, Gamestop, Toys R Us, or any other store like that.

I'll post a link of what you'll be looking for:

Video Games - Wal-mart

Go to the bottom right picture, that's what you need (Sony Memory Card Adapter PS3).

I too was disappointed to find out that the PS3 didn't come with a memory card reader, but I got past it.

Oh, and it's very easy to use. You use your USB cord and plug it into the Memory Card Reader, then put your card into it. The copy the information onto your hard drive, and then it's all over.

They didn't have it at the walmart i went to today... yet they had 3 60GB ps3's. huh.

Do you think i could just use a flashdrive?

I mean i have a hdd for the ps2 and i also have both codebreaker and ARMAX.... so do you think i could use those in any way to transfer them to the virtual memory card or will it not work?

Unfortunately the Memory Card Reader is the only thing that will work.

yeah. And don't put game enhancers from the ps2 into the ps3. The sixaxis does not like game enhancers.

man, you're not lying. i tried codebreaker, and the thing went nuts! the ps3 just froze. i had to go the long way, pull out my ps2, save the cheats on there, transfer those to the ps3.

btw - have you got your hands on that adapter? i truly thing it's a waste of money, it should've came with the ps3. you basically use it once and that's it...
