The 360 didn't recognize the thumbdrive as a valid memory unit. My suspicious inner-consumer suggests that Microsoft requires some sort of proprietary formatting or drivers.

My 360 detected my flashdrive instantly, But I only used it for transferring a wallpaper to it.

I've never had a problem with it detecting usb drives, i've tried a few different brands. But it won't allow you to save gamesaves to them, which is a drag.
