Quick question.
Can i transfer music from an MP3 player or usb drive to my hdd? I know it can be done from cd, but is that the only way? I've been looking online and it seems that is. Don't say Media Mixer, I'm not buying it just to transfer music.
It's just a hassle to have grab my MP3 player evey time I want to listen, I've got plenty of space on my hdd waiting fror something to happen.

I don't think you can. If you could, it would have a "rip" option, which it doesn't.

If you got the USB connector then yeah try it out, its possible, usually works with Zunes/Ipods etc.
But try it out, OR you can get a blank cd and burn the music on it then put the cd in the 360 and rip the music from the cd, thats what i do
I have a Re-writeable CD so i can keep burning and ripping.

I think he wants to actually rip it from the MP3 to the 360.
When I hooked mine up a while back, I don't remember having that option either.
Its worth a try though.

Is anyone else' 360 turning a yellow-ish white on the back corners of your 360? Mine is...I wiped it down with a damp cloth and the discoloration came off a fair amount, but you can still see it.
My dad says it's because of my smoking around it, but idk.
Is there a way to stop it from changing colors?

Smoking near the console could be a valid reason for the discoloration... you might want to consider not smoking near your 360. I have two fans setup near the back of my 360, and they both distribute air towards the front of the system, keeping my console free of heat and the occasional cloud of smoke.
