Sorry to create another topic if the Xbox worth it...
I'm thinking about buying a X360 since the PS3 is too expensive and it will lowered the price in many years. Man, everyone says Live is incredibly amazing. I always wanted to try it. My questions are: Does it worth it? It there any problem like overheat, hd crashes...? Which game is really good (online mode and 2 players mode)? Gears of War looks so good.
p.s: Can we use the PS2 logitech headset to talk in the X360?

To answer your question Marvin. Yes it is worth it. No you can't use your logitech mic, but your xbox 360 comes with a mic so you don't have to worry about it. As for online games, it's depends on what you like. Gears of War, Call of Duty 3 and many more games could do the trick.

I agree completely with mike... and everything that you need for optimum online gaming comes in the box with the premium 360 bundle... headset, CAT5 cable, etc. etc. is all there in the box for you to hookup.
Another thing that makes the Xbox 360 "worth it" (in my opinion) is the Xbox Live Arcade... there are so many classic arcade games that are available for download, it's sweet as hell! And I say this even before Castlevania: Symphony of the Night has been released...

Never argue with an idiot, they'll drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience!
I think if you read all threads on this , you'll see that there is hardly a negative thought on the 360 on here. The 360 is amazing...The Live Marketplace andine features are hands down, exellent. The new downloadableRentals] aren't getting warm receptions to my knowledge.
Is there a problem like overheat, hd crashes ?
There are scattered reports of overheating and crashes , just like any console. Just like a TV, it depends where you buy it. Buy a 360 at Toys R Us and you have the factory warranty. Buy it at Best Buy, throw down the xtra coin for the extended warranty. Some people love the Nyko Intercooler ( cools down your 360 ) some people swear it's a system destoying agent of Satan.
Which game is really good ( online and 2 player mode ) ?
Purchase your 360 and get setup online and you have close to hundred game demos available for download that you can play before you buy.
NUN-PUNCHER endorses:
Gears of War ( Good for standard and online play )
Rainbow 6 Vegas ( Good for standard and online play )
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
The thing is it's what you actually like to play, the graphics and gameplay on these Next-Gen systems are beyond anything you've ever seen. Choose wisely.
PS2 Logitech Headset ? : Why use a headest that was made out of Fishing Line and Spaghetti when you can use the Headset that Microsoft provides you with for free, that plugs right into your wirless controller, a Rumble controller , Thank You...

I heard it is a very good system. They have most of the bugs fixed and the online play is perfectly lag-free. I'm getting one for Christmas. How much do you think it would be to buy the Standard then buy the accessories? More, or less?
Man, when I tried Xbox Live, I was like "wow!!! totally amazing features". I'm so impress of the X360. It's the best choice to choose it. I hope it will survive for the next year.
Why wouldn't it survive? Last time that I checked, Microsoft had some very deep pockets and they're not shy about "spending" it on research & development...
