You only get them for a certain time period?! What the fudge?!

This idea gets worse and worse every time I think about it.

I will go online right now and edit my post with at least some of the "costs" of the movies.

Be warned though that I can only get the "costs" of the SD ones, I don't have a good (HD) TV.

Also, I will only give you the amounts for the ones you posted.

Edit:

List of movies that cost 240ms (STANDARD DEFINITION)

Rat Race
Chinatown
Rosemary's Baby
Congo
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn
The Core
The Sum of All Fears
Gallipoli
Timeline
Patriot Games
Untouchables
Pootie Tang
We Were Soldiers

List of movies that cost 320ms (STANDARD DEFINITION)

Ask the Dust
Failure to Launch

Once I get the time (Maybe later) I will post each movie's details like Mike started. I will try to fill the list in as best as possible, after that, I can help with the rest of the movies if you want.

This stuff is a Rip Off, you rent it for 14 days and then if you play it you only have 24 hours before it expires...

Exactly, I was going to post that but I wasn't sure if it was movie-specific or not.

Basically, you use 240+ms points on a movie that you can keep for up to 14 days, unless you watch it.

Personally, I think this is totally retarded, and what once seemed a good idea, now seems like a scheme to get you to buy those Microsoft Point card thingys.

I doubt I will be getting any points anytime soon, but when I do they definitely wont be blown on this new crap. Its a total scam if you ask me.

Still though, I have no problem with helping with the list for it.

240 points for pooty tang???? this is some sort of sick joke right? lol

so far the only 2 movies on the list that are even remotely worth half a damn are failure to launch and we were soldiers, and i own both of those on dvd.

unless the list of tv shows improves and starts to include things like lost, enterouge(sp?) rescue me, and the shield i think i'll be skipping this particular service.

TV shows are better to download, because you get to keep those.

If you do the math. Movie renting is still cheaper then your local blockbuster. I have to drive around 25 plus miles to my local blockbuster so it's even that much more. The only problem I have is that the 24 hour period is to short.
