Maybe it's the people you play with. R6V is never hurting for people, there's tons of games going on all the time.

I'm just going to get both, and if I play/like one better than the other, byebye to the "neglected" one :)
Xbox date: Tomorrow!(or saturday.. :(
One final question. When I set up my XBL Gold membership, will I be able to play right away, or will I have to wait for something?

No waiting. As soon as your membership is setup (paid or code redeemed), you're good to go.
Then you need to hop over here and send out invites.

You can just grapple them, Wayne (dumbest vg name ever!) jumps over its back to the sweet spot, blam, blam, shotgun blasts mid-air. Try using the grappling hook more, it does alot of surprising things, and makes battling enemies easier.

I'll have to try that out later. I tried playing Lost Planet today on Extreme and it was ridiculous. When I made it to the boss it was like 5 of the smaller rolling Akrid and the giant one. That plus no mech was ridiculous. If you get knocked down you're pretty much ****ed. With all of them on top of you you can't see which way to go and they never let you up.

Well, I didn't actually mean for it to seem like there were less people. But, getting into games is easier in GoW, and I don't know it just seems like a better purchase before R6, some people may not be into a really tactical game, where it's also two shots to die basically. Personally, I don't think any 360 owner should pick one or the other, they should buy both when time and money permits them. They are bar-none the two best shooter games on the 360 as of now.

For once I agree with you... I, personally, can't pick one over the other. They each have their good qualities.
But as of late, R6V is the only thing that I've been playing lately... except for this weekend, as I will be out of town visiting Angry Tapeworm (JAKK).

I hear ya on that one Negative, I can't stop playing it... Sadly, the last time I played GoW was when the two new maps came out. R6 is just the kinda game that keeps me enthralled (sp?), it's my new Socom, but with better hit detection and less "drama."

I was telling Omega and JAKK the very same thing the other night, when we were playing the co-op storymode.
"R6V is everything that SOCOM 3 should have been!"

YES!!!! Finally, someone who thinks exactly the same about the game as me. The first time I played R6, that's exactly what I said. "This is what Socom 3 should've been..."

Well I guess I fall into the category of R6V lovers.....I haven't even touched GoW since I beat the 1st difficulty level..casual is it....
I really have no desire to play it, I really like playing r6V and I haven't even played the single player for more than like 2 hours. So much more fun seems to be had....I will probably go back into single player here shortly just to do it..
