Few questions.

Thanks for the reassurance, I don't want to be the only one on here that seems too lazy to press a button, remove a disk, and press the button again.

I would recommend Call of Duty 3 actually. Although its been out a couple of months, its the only game I have played on the 360 that got me addicted while playing online.

Rainbow Six is a good game, but for some reason I cant get hooked on it. I have had it since right after Christmas and I have probably played it 5 times. A lot of people seem to like it though.

I also hear Gears of War is good. I know (not just online) at least 3 people who have it and they cant stop playing it. I haven't played it but I honestly don't really want to. I don't know if its the actual game that appeals to them or the shere gore that they keep telling me about. Either way they love it.

They only game I know for a fact I will get hooked on this year is GTA IV. I will be lucky to even move for 6 months when I get that game.

Have to agree with some. It does seem like a sensitive console. I try to baby it as much as I can to extend the life, whether it helps or not. I don't keep a disc in or keep it stood up, and give the thing plenty of room to vent. Def, GTA IV looks good. RB6 Vegas is a must, better than GoW, imo.

R6V is good for a while but if you play it for too long a time it gets real old real quick. I can only take it in short doses before it kind of bores me. Lost Planet looks like it'll have better online play than R6 and GoW so go with that.

R6V is where it's at. So many weapons, amazing customization, and cool manuevers(sp?). I would recommend it, and Gears.

I've heard from several different sources that the mech aspect to Lost Planet isn't as good as it could have been. "Average" is what I usually hear this game being called...

The game is pretty good. I like it and I think they did a good job with the mechs. It's not like they are so overpowering online that you're pretty much ****ed if you don't have one. It's not impossible for infantry to take down one of the mechs. Not all the vs suits are good, some of them are slow as hell but they have several different ones to choose from. I think they balanced it out fairly well.

I have all three discussed games. Personally, for online as of now, in your shoes, I would choose GoW. R6 is great, but Gears is just where everyone is at all the time it seems. Lost Planet's online is pretty good, but can bring no comparison to GoW or R6.

Lastly, I must say I love taking on mech's in online. I find the easiest way to kill the operator (if he's not trying to kill you), is to use the grappling hook and a shotgun. Grapple the mech, blast the operator. The grappling hook also comes in handy against Akrid in SP. You know those big rolling ones? You can just grapple them, Wayne (dumbest vg name ever!) jumps over its back to the sweet spot, blam, blam, shotgun blasts mid-air. Try using the grappling hook more, it does alot of surprising things, and makes battling enemies easier.
