I don't know, Microsoft told me November but its december and it still hasn't been released, try calling Microsoft to see what they tell you.

I think whoever at Microsoft that told you that is a boob about the intercooler and the supposed "official" intercooler. Dont you think by now they would have some sorta press-release, or even a mention of it on any of the game sites/television stations. They been whorin their upcoming peripherals since launch, why would an intercooler be any different than a mic, steering wheel, battery pack, etc... And yea, they're telling you the Pelican is better is retarded, that thing is the biggest piece of crap, it doesnt even blow any air, you would be better off buying a usb fan or one of those crappy battery powered things from the dollar store. The only reason they're saying that is so they have yet another reason to not honor warranties, because it's their crappy power supply that is failing, just like most of their consoles. I likx my 360, but by no means is the hardware anything but lack luster quality wise.

LOL, dude three people from Microsoft Tech Support told me already.

But 360 doesn't really need a Intercooler, like i said my 360 Froze like mad 2 weeks after i put the Intercooler on it, but now that its not on my Xbox 360 it is very rare that my Xbox 360 freezes, i would have to be playing for at least 5-6 hours.

So yeah and if the intercooler did mess up your hardware then your warrenty would not be valid, even if you told Microsoft that you didn't put one on, all they have to do is open it up and from there they will know and after that you will mostly recieve your Xbox 360 (THE SAME WAY YOU SENT IT) with a letter stating why your 360 was sent back the way you sent it in.

Haven't heard anything good or bad about that particular model... doesn't look like it would be too bad, provided you plan on having your Xbox 360 setup vertically.

I don't know, i've heard its pretty good maybe you might want to give that one a chance, but if your 360 starts freezing up often take it off, but to be honest you DON'T really need a intercooler...

Unless your going to play 5 hours per sit down, i usually play 2-3.

Seriously, dont waste your money on that piece of crap. Instead of doing that go to wally world and buy one of those cheap small plug-in fans. The pelican fan stand moves NO air at all, my friend had it originally. Turned it on, and I kid you not, its nothing more than if your girl was blowing in you ear, if that.
Chazz, did you speak to American tech support (if there is one), or were you outsourced to India when you called 18004myxbox? Cause, the Indians no crap about anything. They're just reading from a script and will say yes to whatever. Sad part is, I had to argue with my rep when I called that the serial number I was giving them was 12 digits. Needless to say, after saying it for the fourth time and then being told that it was incorrect made me wanna reach through the phone and choke someone.

lol, usually a black person or a white american person picks up, i only talked to an indian 2-3 times, even a Supervisor from Xbox told me that there was one in developement...

So, after weeks and weeks of waiting, and weeks and weeks of thinking, and turning my back on descisions, I've FINALLY decided to go 360, and not take this one back

I got a core for Xmas, and took it back because I wanted the Pro system, then I hear about PS3 shipments and whatnot, so I started thinking again, but now I'm getting a Pro system in a couple of weeks, and now I'm stuck on;

Gears of War or Rainbox 6: Vegas, or both?
