Nuff said.
after a month of having my intercooler my 360 started freezing up constantly over and over, i called microsoft and they told me to ship it to them and then i said i had the intercooler on the 360 and they said, then well we are going to have to charge you to repair the 360...
but then i decided fuk it, if it breaks ill buy a new one, then i took the intercooler off and it hasnt froze as much ever since...
so Intercooler from Nyko = Bad Idea, if Microsoft happens to release one then i'd say get it because as long as the product is from microsoft if it messes up ur 360 then microsoft will replace ur 360 with no hesitation

What are some of the goods and bads?
What's it like online?
How is the gameplay?
Finally, how are the games?

I was wondering the same thing about the XBOX, since I can't get the PS3 right now I thought I would give the XBOX a try. I got my XBOX a week ago and got to say it's great, though PS3 system is better, yeah I know a lot people here are going to flame me for saying that, but it's true. But for right now the PS3 has no great games out and the XBOX already has the lead on that and PS3 going to have some bugs in first ones out. Only bad thing about changing from the PS2 to the XBOX is the controller it's hard to get use to because it's a little bigger.

<sigh> Here we go again with this kind of complaint.
I can honestly say that I notice little to no difference whatsoever between an old school PS2 controller, and an Xbox 360 controller. Other than having a trigger type of button at the L2 and R2 positions, there isn't much of a difference.
Hell, at least Xbox 360 controllers still support a rumble feature.
Saying that is a "larger controller" than Sony's PS2 controller used to be a valid complaint, say, about 5 (or more) years ago.

Chances are it was a bad xbox and not the intercooler that did it. I've had mine on my 360 for a year, same with 5 of my friends. None, have had any problems. My system broke, but I would say it was Microsoft and not the Intercooler. Nyko has even released press statements stating and showing that it isnt the intercooler that cause 360's to fail. It's the same thing as when someone says "x game made my 360 break". No, it was just already READY to break.

So your calling Microsoft l iars?! lol how is it my system, dude it started working like a baby after i took off the intercooler, the system ran so much smoothly without it.
and Microsoft said the fanstand from pelican is better then the intercooler, because it will NOT make your 360 fail, but the intercooler is another story, its using the power from the power cord and not from another cord, it can easily overheat the system.

Has anyone heard a date on when Microsoft's intercooler is supposed to be released? I, personally, have yet to hear an exact date...

[quote=Chazz Princeton;392310]Also with the Xbox 360 you can private chat with someone at ANYTIME so all you have to do is send a Private Chat request and BAM you can talk with your friend, no matter if your playing a game or not,[quote]
So you can chat with someone playing another game?
Can someone go into a bit more detail on this please :)

Yeah bob, you can chat to anyone anytime with out them even playing the same game or not. Say I had to asking a question. I was playing GOW and your watching a movie. I send a private invite via the xbox menu after I hit the little xbox button on my controller. I wait for you to join and then when you pop into the room, I hit the little xbox button and go back to playing GOW while chatting with you. Then I can end the chat to go back to game chat. It's pretty sweet how they set it up. Also I took a flash drive and downloaded like 200 some MP3's on it and am able to play the flash drive while I play games. Which removes the soundtrack of the games and puts this in it's place. It leaves the game sound effects on top so it's just like the game music. There is so much you can do with this system. It's crazy.
