Few questions.

Since X-Mas is just around the corner, I've decided to ask my G-pa for the 360, and save my money that I have for games and other ****, but I have a few more questions

Is the HD needed?
What would I be able to do with the HD that I couldn't do if I didn't have it?
What are a few of the MUST-HAVE games?

Oddly, I feel...nervous? about getting this damn thing, because I told my self I wasn't going to be an xbox fan after I put the original XBox on the shelf after I found SOCOM .

Yeah the HD you might need to download the content like Movies, TV, Arcade Games and much more

Gears Of War
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion "Best Game on 360"
Dead Rising "A Crazy and Beautiful Zombie Action Game"
Need For Speed: Carbon
NBA Street Home Court "Not Out Yet"
Halo 3 "Not Out Yet"
Call Of Duty 3
Rainbow Six Vegas

Those are the best games out there so far!!!

Get the 360, skip the HD-DVD drive. You dont need it unless you wanna buy all your movies over and have a HDTV. Dont be nervous, its much much much better than the original XBOX. I would say have your g-pa get the system and two year warranty for another $60. And trust me, the only game you need is Gears of War.

I'm getting the Xbox 360 HD-DVD drive after this Friday... I'm getting a PS3, only to turn around and sell it on eBay for three times the actual price!

My brother and I found a local store that's getting 100 PS3 consoles.

I sincerely hope that you're joking about not being able to sell a PS3 to some spoiled rotten kid over eBay... the Japanese units alone are selling for nearly $2000 a piece.

Nope, dead serious. If you think about it how I think about it, it seems like there's a high possibility that it wouldn't sell. IDK, I just think differently. I'm thinking that people aren't going to wanna risk possibly over 2000 bucks over ebay, even tthough it happens daily. It probably WON'T happen(someone making the same mistake as the guy who bought the 360 for over $800), I just put all factors into the situation.

And from my point of view, seeing my brother turn around and sell some Magic cards on eBay for well over $1500, I don't see how I can miss out on selling a PS3 to a "starved-for-next-generation-PS3-ONLY" gamer for more than it's worth.

People did it for PS2, and they'll do it now I'm guessing.

I was one of the 250,000 PS2 buyers that time back in October 2000, even...
