Funny letter in OPM Magazine

Titled: Ouch! Brian just got pwned!

"In response to the Letter of the Month in the September issue - OPM# 108, reader Brian should verify his information before putting his ignorance in writing for the world to see. I'm a supporter of both Sony and Microsoft, as I'm a lover of videogame entertainment regardless of the platform. Good games are good games. The two points he made in his email are a bit flawed. First off, 1080p is great, but for the average gamer, not all that earth-shattering. Only high-end HDTVs support 1080p, which is why less than 15% of HDTVs sold actually have the capability. Second, one year of Xbox Live is $49.95, not $70 as Brian stated. So, we "Xboxers" get our 360 and four years of online service for the price of the PS3. And in the end, paying $600 for a PS3, well, we deserve free online gaming. It's good to see that Sony is at least making strides to match the quality of Xbox Live. Happy gaming, everyone!"

Some idiot wrote OPM and got all the facts wrong, and got his *** reamed by an OPM writer.

That's the same feeling that I got after reading the letter... dude didn't have his facts straight before he decided to write his letter into the mag, and got pwned by another reader of the OPM Magazine who noticed his mistakes.

All that about what you can get for the same price of the PS3.

Im finally realising how good the value of the 360 is.

Anyway, its always nice to see some idiot get slammed for trying to be a smart arse.

Not only did he make a lot of mistakes, but he got slammed for it in a magazine which is read by thousands of people. At least that's what I make out of the story.

You wouldn't happen to have found the actual letter he wrote in would you? I want to how stupid it really is.

I remember reading the original letter... I think it was from two issues (months) ago. Definitely no more than two months ago, though...
